PYT brings you a list of the best tropical escapes to spend some quality time at
the beach.

Tikehau Island, French Polynesia-

Consisting of countless white and pink sand islets, Tikehau is a small circular atoll neighboring Rangiroa. With snorkeling and diving as its two major attractions, Tikehau appears like a ‘postcard destination’ because of its picturesque scenery. Whether you want to go off the grid or explore the magnificent marine life, this is the one place to be. Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort, Ninamu Resort, and Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort are some of the best places to enjoy your stay here.

Harbour Island in The Bahamas-

With a population of fewer than 2000, this beautiful Island is usually considered as the crown jewel of the Caribbean. Stretching over a length of 3 miles, the Island is packed with a set of magnificent beaches to unwind. The pink sand beaches extend for miles and you can easily rent golf carts to cruise around. Book one of the boutique hotels here for a warm experience and enjoy the sun and sand.

Bathseba Beach In Barbados-

With a breathtakingly beautiful view, this beach’s coastline is filled with rock formations which appear like huge boulders but in reality, these formations broke away from the ancient coral reef. Home to a small community of fishermen, you can find a variety of guest houses and some local rum shops. It is a quaint place considered as a hideaway by most of the visitors. For tourists with family, you can visit the Bathseba Park which is a good picnic spot.

Dreamland Beach in Bali-

Over the years, this beautiful beach has witnessed a lot of commercialization but despite the development and changes, Dreamland Beach retains its charm and is easily one of the favorites for beach goers and surfers. You won’t experience a problem in finding hotels here. The Westin Resort, Klapa Resort, and The Kana are some of our favourites. During the day, you can simply choose your favorite deck chair and go for a body massage on the sand itself. It’s got everything you could want on a beach.

La Chiva Beach, Vieques, Puerto Rico-

The waters at La Chiva Beach are a sight to behold. The tone of the water changes from one end of the beach to other. At the west end of La Chiva, the water appears turquoise with tones of navy blue. Whereas, towards the eastern end of the beach the color tone appears lighter.
The water is ideal for a swim in winter as the waves are gentle during this season. And if you’re into snorkeling, pack heavy on Sunscreen as the exceptional coral reef will compel you to spend the entire day exploring the underwater world.

Waipio Valley Beach, Big Island-

Home to tropical rainforests and tall sea cliffs which go as high as 2000 feet, Waipio beach is the favorite location on Big Island. There is a black-sand beach in the valley which lines along the length of the shoreline. It is a unique spectacle and draws up a tourist from different parts of the world. And by any chance, if the beach is not enough for you, you can check out the waterfalls to the south. Waiulili Falls and Kaluahine Falls are the top two to visit. Just to inform our readers; a huge portion of the valley is private property
so please seek necessary permission before you set out to hike.

Sunset Beach, Hawaii-

Hawaii as a destination is full of beautiful beaches but for a lot of people, Sunset Beach is the popular choice. Surfers often visit this area because of the tide and waves of the ocean here. To satiate those hunger pangs, you can visit Seven Brothers which is a popular food truck serving excellent burgers and fries. The beach is considered a little rough due to its choppy waters. So, we suggest you be a little alert, especially if visiting during winters.
